Trader Ledger ("the app") is a personal ledger application that lets you record credit/debit transactions with the people you trade with. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
All ledger data you enter — trader names, phone numbers, transaction amounts, notes, and your business name — is stored locally on your device and encrypted using AES-256 with a passphrase/PIN that only you know. This data is not sent to us, and we do not operate any server that receives or stores your ledger.
If you choose to use the optional Google Sheets sync, the app requests permission to
create and update spreadsheets in your own Google account using the
drive.file and spreadsheets scopes. When enabled, your ledger
data is written to a spreadsheet in your Google Drive. This data goes only to your Google
account — not to us or any third party. You can revoke this access at any time in your
Google account settings.
The app has no ads, no analytics/tracking SDKs, and does not sell or share your data with third parties. We do not collect location, device identifiers, or contacts beyond the trader details you manually enter.
You can delete all app data at any time using the "Reset all data" option in Settings, which permanently removes the encrypted vault from your device. Any spreadsheet created in your Google Drive can be deleted directly from your Google account.
Ledger data is encrypted at rest on your device. All network communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS (encrypted in transit).
